The digitizer program:

With the help of a digitizer tray you may generate files of shorelines, depth-lines, buoys, limits etc. at ease. These items may be shown on the monitor while running the survey or printed on the plotter. This will considerably improve your sense of orientation during the survey. If you do not have a digitizer tray you may as well produce the files with the help of a text-editor.
